On a side note, the "random" tire and suspension damage usually means you are driving too fast and hit a rock with a heavy vehicle. Doesn't make it less annoying, more of an observation.
another common reason for it not to be accepted is the trailer being empty, it needs at least 201 L fuel in it
I've seen some claim that there are invisible rocks and such around the maps that cause the random damage, but as far as I can tell, my trucks just take damage for nearly no reason at all on perfectly clear roads. I turned my draw distance to the max thinking maybe that would be the reason, but it hasn't really improved.
I didn't see any marked trailers on any of the maps, so I'll have to look again. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought this one to complete the mission with. I didn't realize that it had to be a specific one. I had tried towing it into the area at first, but thought that it maybe had to be more into the area for it to count, so I disconnected it and pushed it back in.
Thank you for your helpful replies. The game failed to validate a file, so hopefully now that it's been replaced whatever was wrong will be fixed. Rather frustrating these things.
