Are dualies worth it?
I have an old tire list and notice that dualies aren't listed. Do they have any impact? I assumed it would work differently in some way.

In the snow, the dualies seem to work better, or maybe it is just my imagination. Also, dualies seem more stable, so I don't tip over as often?

Maybe it is just me?

Is there a newer, updated tire list available somewhere?

I only purchased Season 1 so I only have like, the first 8 regions, or so?

If i'm remembering right they're the best of both worlds between balloon tires and singles, but i can't really remember much as to why at the moment.

I CAN help with the tire list though, this is the most up to date one i'm aware of, it even has the little black markers on certain tires which show the current PTS changes.

With dualies you mean double tires right ?

I noticed they resist rolling over better ( this you would expect ) and their performance in mud and snow is actually quite decent.

My ( quite bouncy ) ANK Army truck per default is on double tires on the rear axles and not on proper mud tires while it is somewhat unique in being able to fit those. Performance seems not at all affected and it rolls over less that way.

The tire chart only tells you the traction coefficient of the tires and nothing more. The effectiveness of a set of tires is not strictly determined by the traction coefficient.

As accurately observed, dual tires are generally more stable than singles for obvious reasons. But there is also tire pressure, which is not shown to the player, but can be visually observed, which can have an impact on the performance of a vehicle dependant on the surface it is driving on. For instance stiffer tires tend to allow faster movement on more solid surfaces compared to the softer tires which create more drag on the surface they are going over. And I am not talking IRL but what is actually observable in the game.

Yes, dualies = double wheels on the rear axle(s). At least in my neck of the woods.

Does each tire designation come in 1 large tire & two skinny tires with the same name? or does a large tire have a unique name compared to the dualie setup?

I see no mention of this, and have to pick out each tire combo on each truck to figure out which one has the dualies, if one even exists for that particular truck.

It would be nice if there was a comment for ones with dualies on the spreadsheet.

Yeah, I hate those balloon tires. They are just too bouncy and are a big PITA, especially on fast vehicles. I stopped using them as they are just a PITA. I also don't have a steering wheel/Pedals, so it is Full throttle or idle, and instant turn or straight.

As much as I play this game, I should invest in a steering wheel/Pedal system. But it would take up so much room, or be in the way, anyway. My keyboard and mouse is already there and needs no extra space.

Worst case scenario, I just go through each truck and mark which ones use dualies and make note of the tire statistics.

And thanks for everyone's help. I appreciate it.

Balloon tires are not "bouncy", tires in general do not have "bounciness", only suspension does.

As far as the engine is concerned dual rear tires are just like front tires, but twice as wide.

If you are asking whether dualies are "worth it" I assume you can pick between them and singles(OHS or MHS) in which case the answer is no, the singles will always outperform them unless you're up to your frame in mud/snow.

It depends on the truck mostly, but I would say the dual tires are worth it in more scenarios than not worth it.

With dual-tires you often have just small front tires. Be careful then if you have a muddy map as hitting a small mud pit and getting slighty stuck there may cause a truck to roll over from its momentum.
