My personal issue with the Kenworth is that it's neutered by traction. The engine is nice and good, the fuel economy is decent, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥' hell, the moment those rear tyres start to question the surface beneath them, it's just wheelspin city, even with the diff-lock engaged it feels like the wheels aren't finding the purchase that you'd expect.

It is very much the same heavy duty frame as the P 512 which is a very good off road truck despite the RWD only, but it has the "P" Pacific tires with the OP stats just like the P 16.

This KW 990 does not so that is why it suffers. The tires it can mount are not good enough for RWD only in mud or snow. It can't go where US mediums with all options and the same tires struggle.

That said it can follow dirt tracks and go through light mud or snow. The trick is to put pressure on the driven axles. just like the other open diff RWD "highway" trucks.

I agree with missing the "P" tires i would rather grab the P 512 when having to go off road.

Ya, I regret that purchase...unless the next map adds an upgrade to the drive, it's inherently terrible because you have better alternatives.

I really hope they don't give it AWD. There are plenty of trucks with AWD in the game. It is nice to have another RWD only option with diff lock. I would be far less likely to buy it if it got AWD.
