so there be lying around anywhere on any map in any region you been to.
dont forget to check the bays in each garage also.
If all trucks auto went back to storage you wouldnt be able to leave game half way through a delivery without needing to start fresh from the garage.
I used another PC to play at times. I've had vehicles go missing before.
You can also spend a lot of time with this game. where if something goes wrong, the annoyance can be great.
The other, older PC continued playing with a previous game.
With a very new PC. the further game score was not recorded.
the cards that were played appeared practically reset. and the vehicles present were no longer present in the game.
had reinstalled the game, and again apparently game cards were reset and these vehicles were no longer present in this game. even vehicles that come from DLC.
and now I have to pay with coins when I fill up with gas.
Paying for fuel is a hard mode thing.
If the steam saves are not syncing between PCs (and both set to use steam cloud saves) then I need to delve deeper into the issue.
I'll look again, however off the top of my head try copying this folder from 1st PC to the 2nd, no promisies here as its just a late night hunch.
C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Documents\My Games\SnowRunner
copy this whole snowRunner folder to the other PC.
There was a lot of save game issues within MH:R and with the amount of problems that it caused certain people - a few guides where made describing how recover save data through steam cloud saves. I'll link that here - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2743342837
Edit: If I understand this correctly, it sounds like when you play this on your newer PC you're having all these issues - If that's the case - and you are using it with your same account - it could just be the steam DRM that's causing the issue(dead give-a-way is your DLC vehicles) - If that is the case then this guide will help you out.
If your using mods - then you have to install all mods in order for your save to load - otherwise the values in your save file during checkup will look corrupt(depending on game data) and will start you over or cause issues. In this case just install all the mods you have installed and load up that save.
