Noob question about trailers

Hi all,
All these trailers dotted around on the map... I know that by driving near them I can unlock them, and that I can use them.

Am I supposed to be just stealing them and using them, or should I leave them in place and buy what I need?

I'm asking because I know that some missions require a specific trailer to be moved from one place to another..

You can use them freely, but keep in mind that some of them indeed are the mission ones. So it's worth checking if the trailer is unlisted in the left bar on the map and if it's connected to any of tasks.

You still can use its contents like repair points and fuel, but be aware, that you can't completely empty them if you want to complete the task. IIRC you need at least 10% of it's content to turn in.

You don't have to worry about selling a Mission Trailer by mistake. The Game will not allow you to sell it, it will say something to the effect the trailer cannot be sold when you try to sell a mission trailer. So feel free to sell any trailers you find for extra money.
