Report a translation problem
It sounds like your acceleration / brake settings are Centered (instead of normal or inverted) .. so if your pedal is down, you go forward, if it's up (resting) you shift into reverse.
I keep mine in "normal" so when I press down on the pedal I move forward, then brake and shift into R and push down the accelerator again to reverse (like a normal vehicle).
Edit: oops, forgot I was in the snowrunner channel.. I only use my wheel for ATS / ETS and those are my settings for those games
Everything works perfectly normally in ETS. It only happens in snowrunner.
It is IMO, a BAD feature, but it is a feature.
Use Manual Gearbox
I am not sure what that setting is for, but that seemed to fix this problem for me!
