bad performance/low specs usage

just got the game

specs
i5 12600k
6950xt
32gb 3200mhz
samsung 970 evo ssd

low gpu usage 40%, didn't look at cpu but probably nonexistent too since I didn't hear the fans ramp up.


1440p mix between medium and high, left them at default for now. any advice googling didn't help.

I have a similar (but a bit lesser) rig - i5-13500 and RTX 3070 and run at 1440p on a mix of ultra and high, but my monitor is limited to 60FPS (it's a 4K photography monitor) and typically the GPU utilisation is 70% and the CPU about 20%. If I let Nvidia GeForce Experience set the settings it runs at 4K and mostly ultra, but the GPU usage is over 90% and the temps too high for my liking.
I'm happy with the lower setting I use.

Don't know why you'd be unhappy with the performance you are getting - looks good to me. SR is a GPU intensive game, not much for the CPU to do apparently. I asked in the hardware forum.

If you want higher gpu usage use ultra graphic settings, my gpu usage is about 80%, mostly ultra 1440p
