Mission Deep Study at phase 8

I dont remember how to activate the Seismic Vibrator ??? I have done it before on other maps, and it worked, but not now i phase 8

No it dont tell me that, but it did in an earlier season. And which map here in season 8 shall I do it on ?

When you press V an activation box appears on screen, and yes you can miss it, press 4 I think then. It's automatic after that.

No it dont,, I knew it did on an earler season,, have you test it at phase 8 ?
The metal detector worked as you describe it

You need it on the institute map. Have the mission on tracking and you should see the distance in meters for the three objectives.
Once at the point press V to open advanced functions. It is not inside the text menu but at the bottom of the screen it should show the keys. 7 is the default one I think?

Yes, Seismic Vibrator. Definitely works. ;)
In Ver 8 I did not use the metal detector at all.

For the vibrator the keys are only active when you're at the objective spots. Not available anywhere else

Yesss,, found it,, its beeping,, cant scan,, dont get some menu

The text "Find and scan the south east point " am I finish with this point,, but the text dont
disappear. The distans is 0 m,, zero,,

HOW can I scan it,, the beep dont stop

I can't get further,, it stands at zero meter, and beeps,, but doesn't stop,,
nothing happens with button 4 or 7

Thanks guys for your patience,, I found out what didnt work,, haha,, I had a small crane AND the Seismic vibrator on my truck,, and that did not work,, that is kind of a bug....

Fantastic. However; you SHOULD have got a warning when selecting the addons ~ I had to remove my crane as well, but I got that warning at the garage, so I did not drive to the site and have your problems.

"potato samples" ?????

The field on the map Institute map is called Experimental Field. It will yield potato samples
