Does it need internet to start

as the title states, do i need internet to boot it up? wondering if to purchase for a few flights with Steam Deck. thanks

no it doesn't need it. I checked it before to talk with you. You will not be able to play the coop mode obviously but you can play without internet yes.

So you don’t need internet if you donr care about co-op?

exactly. I suppose that the most that can happen to you is that your games are only saved on your hard drive and not in the cloud, that is, if you uninstall the game and reinstall it without ever having used the internet, you lose your progress. You won't get your achievements updated either as long as you never log in, but play of course like most steam games
