Does this game work well with a steering wheel?

I have been reading all types of mixed reviews about this, especially about moving the camera while driving... I have a G29 no shift stick.

I managed to get my G29 to work in Snowrunner but there was no force feedback. Unfortunately, when I returned to ETS2, I discovered that all my settings, which have worked perfectly for weeks, were different and the steering was dreadful. Having reset ETS2 so that my G29 works properly again, I now steer and drive in Snowrunner with the keyboard (WASD) and find that works okay.

Took me a few hours of troubleshooting a issue with the game on my G920 where the wheel would put it's full force into rotating one direction for no reason. Eventually got the game working with a fix that only sometimes works, and once I was able to start playing I was quite disappointed. The wheel is very heavy for no reason with no actual way to fix it, and not being able to rotate the camera is problematic. After spending those hours and finally getting it working, I gave up on it and went back to controller. Love the game but wouldn't recommend playing it on a wheel.

The need to use the camera and winch systems as well as map etc really forced me back into a controller mixed with keyboard and mouse. There are so many situations where I have to be able to look around my vehicle it just stopped making sense.

Damn, guess I've been lucky with my G29. And with only having one arm I need all my controls to be on the wheel, so doubly lucky I have that all working.

You have a great outlook on life if you have one arm and still consider yourself lucky :D
I now consider myself lucky to have two arms,
To be fair a G29 has a lot going for it in terms of on wheel controls. I like that layout.
