Could work across platforms and launchers and games, and would actually be a revolutionary product to produce, are you listning discord?
doesnt work on public sessions.
most of the time i prefer to play with random ppl, since i dont wanna talk all the time in discord. just common VOIP function would be enough, to be honest.
You would'nt have to talk if you dont want to, they could even make a small text chat part of the discord overlay.
It's pretty simple discord detects you and another user is conneted to each other or another sever ip in the same game and starts a text chat/ voice chat overlay.
That is all, and it would work in all games that are p2p or game server ip.
well ppl invented VOIP to avoid third-party software. ofc, im usin discord, but not for this title.
ppl should have a choice.
And routing this through discord feels like a mess over what could just be a simple ingame VOIP/text chat
