HA HA HA HA HA 😂 Great answer‼️ Anyway, it's just a game that let's us play our own god. Didn't the Flinstones' car go backwards when Fred applied the brakes?
Also: the response of the throttle and brake in the game is somewhat delayed, not very good.
It's just a game - adapt to how it works.
The point of discussions like this is not to find ways to adapt to design flaws, but rather to address them.
Things like this can go a long way of determining the longevity of a game, and that's something that matters a lot to developers – or at least SHOULD matter a lot.
Also not using auto will make you only brake, and you should honestly be rolling in high or low/high at all times if you want to save fuel. It requires snowrunner or offroad gearbox tho.
Right. Using the handbrake is basically the only reliable workaround.
And it also applies braking force immediately, unlike the regular brake.
And I know using other gears temporarily cures the brake pedal from the horrible curse of auto-reverse. Thanks for the advice though!
But sometimes the auto gear is the most preferable for maneuverability, and you often get further in the same amount of time, with somewhat comparable fuel consumption, actually resulting in better fuel economy (miles per gallon) rather than how much you're burning at the moment.
But even using all these workarounds there are still times when you accidentally might trigger auto-reverse and potentially ruin a very delicate situation.
It's just something you should never have to be worried might happen.
Wish the devs realized that.
Haha, exactly!
Ok,, didn't know it's been requested that much. Strange that they wouldn't do anything about it. It's just such an unnatural thing. Cars just don't do that.
I got this game during some Steam event about simulators so I assumed it was one.
Things like this makes me reconsider that label.
You're probably right that the devs don't look here.
But why wouldn't they be?
At least that was my thought posting this.
So I tried registering on the official forums...
Have to say that place doesn't look great...
You register with your real name and that becomes your profile name for the forum...
Can't change username or any settings, because the changes do not register...
Logged out and I can't log back in... says the credentials are wrong...
And I don't receive a password reset email either...
Something's definitely catastrophically broken over there...
Maybe the devs really should be here instead...
