Is there a way to secure the load on the evacuator?
Most of the time the vehicle will fall off the side.
And the fact we can only use the winch on the side of the front of the other vehicle doesn't help loading correctly.

Yeah, there should be the option to "pack trucks and trailers", similar to packing cargo.

you have to release the winch from the towed vehicle, then you can use the "PACK TRUCKS AND TRAILERS" function

It might also be a bug with that movable towing platform, I also noticed it was only possible to pack the very same loaf on my truck when it was only half on there.
The one with the foldable ramp works more reliably.

Shouldn't be an issue with the loaf, but I've also noticed that you don't get the pack option if you're too close to the front or rear.
I recently tried to put the hummer and radar trailer onto the ramped flatbed. (4 slot trailer)
Couldn't find a position where it would pack and tried moving it forward and back a bunch of times looking for the sweet spot. Finally unhooked the radar trailer and backed the hummer into it and got the pack option.
Both packed, survived the trip, and I just had to reconnect to the hummer after unpacking to drive the pair off the trailer.

If things won't pack, you might just be too close to one of the edges.

^Yep, that too. If you are trying to load something on a hill and the towed vehicle rolls too far foward (front tires over the wheel strap retainers in front of the winch track on the bed) it won't give you the option either.

I still say, release the winch and open that functions menu again. I got a Loadstar 1700 on there and chocked properly with one wheel practically hanging over the side.
