MODS NOT WORKING (INFINITE LOADING)

I'm trying to install mods with the function in game, yet when I try they'll say 'downloading' and will not stop. I have never been able to get them to work, I have deleted the mods folder and reinstalled the game, logged out of the mods.io account and logged back in with a a different account and nothing seems to fix it. Any other solutions?

If you are using a VPN I have found it interferes with the downloading of the mods and I disable it whenever I play the game. Also, you can try rebooting your modem by unplugging it from the power point and wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in. It will take a while to reconnect but can fix issues with connections and is the first thing you should do if you have trouble with internet connections.

I am not using a VPN, after rebooting my modem the issue still persists. I am unsure what is causing this

I usually get my mods from the mod.io site and compare them with other similar mods so I can choose the best ones and also read players comments to find out if there are any problems. Perhaps if you go to the mod.io site and subscribe from there you may have better luck getting them to install. You only need to log in to the mod.io site and subscribe to them there and the next time you load the game the mods should install automatically. I hope that works for you otherwise I am out of ideas.

That worked perfectly, took a little while to install due to mod.io servers being slow, but it's worked nonetheless. thank you very much!
