Does the 10€ coupon apply to DLC? I thought it didn't?

Season 1 pass has the advantage of being completely released (all 4 regions); season 2 will be released over the coming year, with a new region scheduled each 3 months. if you want something you can play now, get year 1.

Season pass 1 gives you access to some solid trucks, especially the surprisingly versatile KRS58 Bandit at the start which is extremely helpful in both early and late game.

The navistar is a powerful beast of a truck but no diff lock holds it back. I got it for the rugged military look but you'll find something better shortly after.

GMC brigadier is a decent all-rounder but it's a tough truck to work with without proper upgrades.

Chevy apache is an interesting addition, rarely will this thing get stopped BUT it's a dedicated exploration scout. It floats, it chugs forward, it doesnt break ice. Just no trailers, no strong towing ability, no cargo, it's all about exploring.

The Khan 39 Marshall is an offroad master and tower but its tank is pitifully small and its handling is jerky as hell.

Everything else is ok, theres a free pack which is free so get it. Theres like one more I'm missing, the HX international, and all i can say about it from my experience is meh, its ok.

Edit: HX international is one of the free trucks, the last one was the Western Star 49x which I honestly dont have any experience using so I dont know about that one.

I am currently using the CAT CT681 from the free DLC for Drummond Island and it's a total joy to use.

If you're a beginner, get the DLC which has the Bandit in it. It's really good. And if you want a good scout vehicle, go for the clasico pack with the Apache 6x6. Afaik it has ofroad tires installed as standard.

I was thinking of getting one season not a whole year ;p cause it costs around 10 quid ;p and yeah i didnt check maybe the discount dosent apply to dlc's you might be right ;p
So I was hoping you guys could reccomend just one season( i think they contain like one or 2 maps or something).
Also this is my second attemt on this game, I came back to see if hard mode is hard enough for me ;p since normal mode was all about free recovery fuel etc ;p I am not sure if I should get the free dlc cars wont that make the game too easy ?

ok so
if the DLC is not currently on sale, there is no rush to buy it
you won't miss anything in the base game if you're not planning on making it easy for yourself truck-wise anyway
just play the base game and you can still buy the DLC when you want more snow
because the base game only has alaska
(besides Michigan and Taymir, which don't have snow)

The seasons are the must-have DLC if you want more content (besides mod maps), because they have new maps with new missions.
Year 1 has [1] Kola, [2] Yukon, and [4] Amur (twice as big, twice as hard) as snowy regions; but these 3 combined already cost more than the year 1 pass, which sells for £21.99 now -- it was 20% off when I bought it.

So a good plan could be to get into playing the base game for now, and look for a sale on the year 1 season pass.

No I only want to buy a DLC because of the discount coupon ;p I am only going to get one, small season dlc not the whole season pass ;p BUt thanks for all the answers :) It is real hard to find any info on the maps they dish out in them DLC's tho ;p I remeber I think i saw once a picture of a map with that huuge mine you can drive into, which one is that ?

Lots of regions have quarries, Michigan, Taymir, Wisconsin, Amur.
Of these, only Amur has snow, but it's the most difficult region.

I've bought season 3 and season 4. Season 3 is comfy papermill starting job and easy level maps. Season 4 is hardcore offroad driving, and pain in the ass, not for new players.

The DLC's are actually listed in phases, not seasons. All 4 phases are season 1.
If you only want to buy one and you like snow, I'd say go with phase 1 which is the Kola peninsula.
It consists of 2 maps and 3 new trucks.
This was the phase that added weak ice you can fall through. Both of the maps have garages, however you have to complete a couple of missions to unlock the one in Imandra.

The 3 trucks are the Ford F750, which is one of the best heavy scout trucks in the game. It carries a huge amount of fuel, repair points, spare tires, and can tow a mdeium trailers.
The other 2 trucks are the Tuz 16 Actaeon, and Tuz 108 Warthog. Both of these are better classed as heavy scouts than off road trucks and have their own frame addons as well as balloon mud tires similar to the Taiga.
The other notable thing in this map is the AWD upgrade for the Twinsteer. This makes the truck SO much more useful.

It's a tough map compared to Alaska, but much easier than the new phase 4 Amur region.
The big mission in this phase is recovering a WW2 plane in 3 pieces and getting them to the airport. While it's a fairly big mission, it's MUCH easier than the main missions in any of the other DLC regions.

One other thing you might try is to find people with the other DLC's to play coop with. Even with just the base game, you can join any game on a DLC map. If any upgrades are unlocked while you're in the session, they'll be available for you in your base game. (assuming you own a truck they fit)
You won't be able to buy any of the DLC trucks, but you will be able to borrow them from other players and try them out to see how you like them. If you like the trucks enough, it might convince you to buy that DLC to get them.
