Do I have to Restart? - No Fuel in Tutorial

Yes, I messed up during the tutorial of all things and run out of fuel in both vehicles, BEFORE the garage is found. Have I lost an entire hour's progress?

I feel like such a numpty.

You can still recover every vehicle, it will respawn at the starting point.
Use the functions menu (V key) and select RECOVER.

If you're in normal mode, sell your vehicle/s and buy a new one, it should spawn with fuel.

there is a fuel station near the watchtower it marked for you (yellow icon). that should be the 1st thing you are suppose to going to. isn't it.

You're sure you're not playing Hard Mode by any chance? Don't do that if you never played the game before.

Yes, you need to restart game.

You don't get fuel during tutorial.
You need to find Garage 1st, then it works.
Game mode is normal.

I never paid attention to that.

Ah well. You can't even invite a friend for multiplayer without the garage, so, yes, restart is inevitable. But I believe you lost less than an hour, things usually go faster for me when I do them a second time.

I just made the fuel tank bigger on my most used vehicles. a 1000 litre fuel tank takes the fuel issue away.. That and extending the reach of the winches and making them all work without the engine needing to be on makes it much more enjoyable.

Maybe to make it even more enjoyable you should make the vehicles hover over the ground so they never get slowed down.

yes maybe make it more enjoyable by having unlimited money and all quests auto complete when you arrive on the map and of course some overpowered mod trucks

Ha, also... apparently if you open the map, the game isn't paused. I ran out of fuel that way.

You will grind on this game for a lot of hours, so forget that 1 hour and restart, just do what it says rigth away till you have the garage, after that you can goof around ;)
