I play in new game+ and having fun, but still the hours running away, no matter if i play with trucks have all the upgrades, it still takes times to complete missions and i can still tip over. Those upgrade boxes do not make any sense for me.
Hopes my replay could help :-D
What does help everyone regardless of the game mode, though, is to add lights to your vehicles.
The labeling of the lights as cosmetics is misleading because they are very much functional upgrades. More lights = greater light intensity AND range at night.
(And just to clear this up since I see lots of people who never switch their lights on and just skip night instead: you have to manually turn them on by pressing L. The default amount of light you get if you don't do this is negligible.)
What I want to know is, if the Day cycle is Save based or somehow global, because I've seen one let's play where the player restarted PC because of an recording audio glich and when he got back to the game it was night instead of midday. (He was doing hard mode, so you can't skip time there) I can't find this info anywhere

Hi, You can create a new custom game mode that stays up to date. If you don't want to do this, I recommend searching on Google, (SnowRunner Trainer) on the website (flingtrainner.com) where you only enable the function (freeze daytime), it is only available for computers. It was the easiest way I found.
Thanks a lot. Question: I run snow runner.app on a MacBook Air M2. I can not find a file named "TIME_SETTINGS". Do you know if I can change the time skip in snow runner for Mac?
same here. cant find TIME_SETTINGS in the file. Maybe it was just a joke-post?
