Missing save files

Game still saves it, but no files in storage folder. Tried couple different solutions on youtube but no luck.

I FOUND THE FIX!!!!

The freaking Steam Save Files are NOT in Documents Folder
They are in the Steam Folder userdata in C: Drive and Snowrunner save folder is called 1465360

The Files needs to be in .cfg extension so if they come in .dat
Just rename them

Delete the remotecache once your done

What exactly is the issue and what do you want to achieve when you actually found your savegame? That's important information, if you are searching for help.

All Google search had the Epic results in which the save file would be in the Documents Folder

Steam Release would have its save files in the steam folder and they use different extensions from what epic has

That's all clear and nothing new. You're not OP, though, and I would like to know, what OP is actually trying to do in order to help properly.

Alot of the stuff gets overshadowed by Epic Discussion which were from a year ago and it took me a week to find the solution from one of the discussions in here.

and also I came from the Pirated version before I bought the game ;)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata \ < User-ID>\1465360\remote

Save is a .cfg if using maprunner.info and you download the .dat change it back to .cfg and works fine

Did you still have fog even if you discover most of the map ?

well I bought the base game first and then transferred my pirated save over
I put one dlc in and then there was fog sadly

no fogs on base game

the fix doesnt work for me =/
found the 1465360 folder, renamed every file to .cfg, deleted the cloudsave vdh stuff .... but still: it doesnt show up in the game.

Isn't there a sticky for this exact same issue? Read it. Do exactly as described. Have fun playing. On a sidenote: Since when do we support somebody with a pirated version? I don't even care he has the game bought by now.

1) the sticky does NOT mention this issue..
wanna know, what went wrong? i didn`t install the FREE anniversary DLC.. so trucks from the old version didn`t match the new version.. no warning, nothing. just didn`t work at all. the savegame didn`t appear ingame. solved.

2) this issue affects both pirates AND old epic accounts migrating to steam.. so better support people, who support steam.. no matter what faction... as long as they`re not migrating to epic again =D
