Query: Are the Season Passes worth it?
Been watching this for a while now. I'm a little underwhelmed at the 20% off sale so may wait for Christmas/Winter sale but was wondering if existing owners think the passes are worth it for this game?

I don't really care about the paint jobs that much, and while new trucks are cool I don't like that they are openly (from what I've read) given to you at the start and mess up the game's progression by giving you really powerful truck(s) up front before you earn others first.

I mainly would care about the actual content DLC stuff. All games are different with their "season pass" stuff, so I didn't know if it's a better financial decision to just get the base game (maybe with just 1 season) and buy the other DLC as it's released? I guess I'm wondering if you bypass the pain jobs and buy the DLC stuff individual without all the "fluff" it it comes out to cheaper-or-the-same price as just getting the season pass.

Thanks for any opinions in advance.

In my eyes yes, if only for the maps, even with kola and amur regions, they will make you want to rip your hair out but still.
Everything else in there not worth it, trucks barely worth it(fake maz 535 is cool though), and paint jobs are useless. But the maps do extend the gameplay a lot, you can grind a lot more hours if that is what you like.

So again, even if only for the maps, its worth it for me.

EDIT: if you buy at -20% or wait longer, that is up to you.

I would say yes but there is no way arround it to save money. The premium edition costs like 40€ on sale (with all the garbage included). The game with 4 dlcs costs about 53€ on sale. So I would probably go for the premium edition although it has the "garbage dlcs" not just map expansions.
First off, you can buy the base game now, and buy the DLC later. The base game content will NOT change when you buy more DLC, and you'll still be able to join anyone in Multiplayer even if they are playing with DLC content. Financially, the "premium" edition saves you nothing over buying the packages separately; the big bundle with both years gives a meager 8% discount.

Playing the base game should easily keep you occupied for >100 hours, and if it doesn't because you find out you don't like the game that much after all, well, you save 100% of the money you were going to spend on the expansions. If you do enjoy the game, you'll be in a good position to decide for yourself whether you want more content.

The year 1 pass is cheaper than buying the 4 seasons separately. I expect the same will be true for year 2.
