cargo size and 'access to location'

Hi, I have 2 questions.
Maybe I missed but I can't find a way to figure out what size a cargo is. So how many cargo spots will occupy? e.g. I have some 'oversized cargo' in Michigan. Do I first have to drive there to see what trailer I need?

Second I just did the last jobs in Michigan - the oil drill stuff. In the description it says I'll get 'access to location' as a reward, which is great. It's just that I have no idea what or where that location is.
Can someone enlighten me?

The cargo sizes are something you will learn through experience. There isn't a huge amount of cargo, so at a certain point you'll know how big what cargo is.

The slot amount is color coded. I think the Don region is missing in this sheet - it's a bit dated, but it does the trick.


To your second question: It tells you on screen, what you got access to, but it's not there very long. Usually you can get access to various things: Garages, trailer stores, loading points for cargo, access to the next map. I don't really remember what it was in Michigan, this is quite some time ago. I am sure somebody else around here will exactly know what it was in Michigan.

I don't know if it's up to date or not but https://www.maprunner.info/cargo says oversized is at Alaska, Taymyr and Amur, and shows exactly where. Caution: spoilers!

Actually you get some oversized in Michigan too, after you completed those oil drilling thingies. I'll watch out for that location next time. Got one right now.

Oversized cargo takes four slots (one large container). You get them from the abandonded ship at drummond island.
The "access to location" is for the oil drilling site at the dam. You can then get oil and fuel from it, if I remember correctly
