I would asume game does somee synchronisation or someeething similar in the background after you quit it and theen really closes after it suceeeds/times out.
Just for the sake of testing and finding the cause of the issue - did you ever uninstall Logitech's Ghub and try if the issue still persists?
Also, if you have a slow internet connection, synchronization of the save file could take a short moment until the game finally shuts down. But you say it all started with Logitech, so I assume it worked before?
G Hub and the game worked before i installed the G923 so there is an conflict between SR and G923 i guess, why i do not know.
My internet is Fiber and works flawless with constant low ping and high speed.
Edit: I closed the game and waited...after 10m it was still running in steam.
I closed G Hub, SR is still running
I closed Steam "wating for SR to close down" it said with a greyed out exit button. After some seconds it was done so i could close steam, SR still running.
I closed any service named GHub and Steam in taskmanager, SR still running.
I disconnected G923 from PC, SR still running.
Great....
Only released official client, no test or beta versions.
I have searched and found that other is also experience this with SN and other games in Steam. Both old and new post in different forums and the only solution seems to be to stop it through task manager. No crashreport or logs are created even though steams crashreport client starts everytime i force close sn.exe in taskmanager.
Can it be a synchro issue in steam? The game tries to synchro with the steam cloud and gets stucked doing that because the client don´t "answers" on the requests?
I tested and it still refuse to close snowrunner...
Also in the game, the engine starts by itself, although I do not press any pedal or button.
I had the same problems regarding enginge start. I reset to default and choosed "directinput" and then under device G923 for playstation (as i have).
I still got a strange problem that the engning turn it self off and on sometimes during driving long distances.
The problem with the game still running after exit are still there :(
Same problem here...
You're not the only, I have to kill the game in the Windows Task Manager...
Devs are really bad at fixing bugs...
So far they blame all on GHub and Logitech. They are not even interested in a more deep technical support. "GHub is the problem. Uninstall it and all will be fine"

I find it quite handy to go there to visit the Steam discussions after I've done with Snowrunner.
