game wont open properly

if i open legendary tales on steam vr it gets stuck on "next up"
if i dont use steam vr it gets stuck on a black screen loading
on my desktop i can see the game is running and music is playing but it has some black artifacts or something covering part of the screen and nothing moves.
im using virtual desktop and a pico 4
the game was working fine before the update

Have you tried launching from the games tab in VD? Or just launching the shortcut from your desktop while in VD?

ye they just open steam and steam vr again

ok i managed to solve my problem, so for anyone with the same or similar problem heres my fix and my current settings.

1-i have openxr toolkit i set that to disabled
2-on Virtual desktop streamer my open xr runtime setting is in automatic
3-and what i think is the main thing, in steamVR desktop application (you have to minimize the overlay because in the overlay the option for openXR is hidden)
you click the 3 dash lines, go into settings, \ OpenXR \ manage openXR API layers and set the all to off.
restart computer

after hours of searching stuff that did it for me

EDIT: Uninstaled ad reinstalled SteamVR, that did it for me.
