IIRC they've also come out with something with a very similar game
It's not related to PSVR2 at all. It is related to how I think about efficient development process.
We have only 5 devs include me, We can not do big steps while we maintain update every month or 3 months + we need constant bug patches when game itself it live. So, It's going to be burden for us.
Instead I pick the fast way, gather people who I can rely on and let them do QA tests.
Maybe some people think it was fun for them, they enjoyed game first. No it's the other way.
They had to get through all buggy game and had to learn new things everytime, because that is what they signed for. they couldn't complain about buggy, changing game either.
They have played 1000+ hours during the updates preparing it was not easy tasks for us and them.
All this process, we couldn't do it on live.
And it's the other way, most of time, we develop and test on PC with Oculus link, So, it is more accurate to say PSVR2 was delayed not PCVR was delayed.
Trust me, If we updated every 3months live, We couldn't bring this big update at all.
I hope you understand what I want to say.
Warm regards,
BJ
Full game comes to PCVR and PSVR2.
PSVR2 didn't get any benefit I believe.
