Thanks for breaking the game

Just wanted to say thank you for breaking a game that used to work with no issues!
Your hard work has paid off, now you're like a real AAA studio!
I get like a 6 GB update today for some reason so I figured I'd see what's happening with the game.
I make it to the car with mum and say I'm going to join fight club and it errors instantly.
I already wasn't a fan of yours because I bought episode 2 for money then you made it all free to play wasting my money now you broke a game that never had issues. Just a terrible job done!
How do you break a game that always worked?

Yeah for real. I'm the same problem lol. But i didnt bought the episode 2 because i would buy just after finish the first one. Now i don't see why i should.

Same every save I have its broken now unplayable

yeah. finished patch and my saves are toast. starting a new game and hoping it solved the problem i'd been having. saves were likely corrupt and the game just didn't see the problem till the patch. would explain a lot about the experience i've been having with the game up to now. fingers crossed.

nope starting a new game doesn't help. hit an exception before i even got to college. guess i'll move on to something else and try again another time.

Patch Notes:
Merged a range of CK2 fixes into ck1
Fixed the "whats_new" screen to prevent crashes

Q: Why is my download X GBs?
A: We've realised that a lot of the bugs are due to how DLCs are merged and as they haven't been updated in many months certain users are experiencing bugs that had been fixed already. Thus we have removed the builds from the DLCs to make sure the main build is available to everyone. This will require certain users to do a large download of the main files.

skip works but everythings back to unseen

My saves are all still there, I didn't try loading any of them though, I will wait until the game is stable again.
