Question about the frats
OK, The game pushes you to join a frat, most specifically, the wolves, but being an ape is also possible. Since we do know that there are supposedly 2 more options according to Lauren in Act 1 Chapter 1, Not joining a frat or joining the frogs, has anyone firstly tried exploring those last 2 options, and if you did it successfully, how? It seems to me that it would break the game if you simply refused to play the frat tug o war.

It's literally not an option to not be an Ape or a Wolf (at least so far in the 3 acts). Only way to avoid them is to quit in Act 1 before you have to pledge.

Yes, unfortunately and it is a shame that the dev refused to give the players the choice to join the frogs or even play without joining a frat imo.
That would defeat the whole point of becoming fight king with the support from your frat and the friends you make along the way

So even if you deliberately completely fail entire pledge process, you still get invited? That sounds really weird.

yep, because I actually tried that to see. I intentionally failed all of the Wolves pledge challenges and still got in. not sure about the apes though because the first challenge was to call Chloe and tell her I was proudly becoming an Ape, and the second was to pull down Mr Lee's pants in class
At that point I stopped the process because it became clear that they are just a bunch of sadistic arsehats just out to cause strife in everyone around their live's. The wolves aren't much better in the fact that they do setups as well, both good and bad. While I am not fond of doing bad stuff, if it can ultimately accomplish a good goal, I can lie with some things. It just seems like the Apes are just doing bad stuff sheerly for the sake of doing bad stuff, and I don't roll that way and never have and I ain't starting now.

Why is that ? oO
Even frogs and a MC that decides NOT to join a frat can have friends along the way that support him, enter the summer brawl and win the title of fight king.
Not only that, but why would one of the main NPC's outright tell you that you don't have to fight or join a frat to get girls if the game doesn't allow it to happen?

At least in College Kings, Unlike in Being a D.I.K. you have the option to simulate the fight scenes with an auto win if you have no twitch reflex console gamer skills due to medical issues in real life since you must fight to advance the game.
And remember, just because the game does have a couple of shortfalls, the fact still remains that the entire first act was written, coded and rendered by one man during the covid lockdown of 2020 to have something to do. Plus on discord he said that the game in it's entirety is probably only going to have 5 or maybe 6 Acts with an average of 3 chapter per act and depending on it's success degree, their may or may not be a sequel
.

yes it sounds a little strange if there are only 6 acts in total.

If it sounds too strange to be true... it probably is.

Then I just hope they then make one more season. The game would seem short if there are only 6 acts in total, but that's just my opinion.

That number does not seem right but yeah each act that you get on steam is broken in to 3 parts for other places

IF it ends after the summer brawl it is only the freshman year ... but why is the game namend College Kings then ?

College KingS (Plural) implies that there are more kings than only the fight king as far as i understand (and hope..it would be good to have a counterpart to the fight king..sometimes it is better not to fight but to use the brain !)

Should the devs decide to make CK a 6 act game then my vote for a season 2 is a clear and big NO !!
(sry, but just take a look at the rating...the REAL, TRUE rating ! .. It NEVER went to the high ratings of act 1 again until now ...and IF MrSkeletor really should be an award-winning writer ... i personally would nominate him for the golden raspberry only until now ... sorry !)
we only just got MrSkeletor before that we had other people

should give the apes a try there is some reason for some of them being a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the head

And consider becoing a patron on patreon .com. with only 600 more patrons he will do a community voted on sex scene in the game following certain rules of course but other than those rules, whatever the community votes up will be what goes into the game. plus you get early access to the game releases and exclusive renders that you can't get on steam, or anywhere else.
