When I first setup my T-LCM (although a different make/model) pedals, the axis was not inverted. The brakes were therefore locked on until I pushed the pedal.
Perhaps the same is happening to you. You might need to invert the brake axis.
Can you post a video of the problem? I'll be able to help, I'm a software engineer with a G29, which is basically the G923 without Trueforce and a slower FFB polling rate. Make sure you're running the latest version of G Hub and if you bought the Xbox version instead of the PS4/PS5 one, make sure you're running the latest firmware.
Is the built-in buttkicker in the steering wheel worth it?
Thank you
I dont know if it was an issue with the tyres (like i said, only dry slicks) but i couldnt handle it in any way. maybe any suggestions?
Trueforce is extra haptics so it feels more realistic in terms of FFB. If trueforce is supported (and the game has to support it) then you would feel a spinning metal disk if you put your hand on the area of the base right behind the wheel if you had the car in nuetral or the clutch engaged and then revved the engine.
So you mean, when im doing like nothing (for example at the start of the stage), and im pressing the brakes and rev the engine up then the wheel should be vibrating ( = trueforce?), yes it definately does. so it does also with DR2 and ACC
Yeah those 2 games support the 923's extra haptics.
Good to know that this does as well. Like a goon I bought a g920 by accident (hit the wrong item on eBay) then when I got the wheel I instantly put it up for sale on FB marketplace and thankfully sold it for basically what I paid for it. Then I bought the 923.
Then I was sad lol. $100 extra for the 923 and even all the games on the supported list aren't actually supported and most new games don't have support.
Logitech needs to push it harder with devs. It's not difficult to implement... It's just a plugin.
I'm really hoping horizon 5 supports it because I have a series x as well and sometimes it's just easier to use a console.
I'm not sure if you solved this yet, but from everything I've read, it sounds like the brake axis needs to be inverted. If the brakes don't function properly until you've pressed them all the way down once, then try inverting them. I've heard of the exact same thing happening on RBR and inverting the axis was the fix.
@d0x360 i really do enjoy this wheel, since it is my first one. I dont know how to feel about forza horizon 5 to be honest. While i loved playing FH4 with gamepad I absolutely hated it with a wheel. I tried it out with 3 different cars when I got the wheel and fastly decided not to play it. I just felt like FH games arent meant for wheels. I think everyone agrees, that ACC is the far harder game and still i wasnt able to drive in FH4 while ACC felt natural and went well.
just my 2 cents to this topic, but you should consider im pretty new to the racing sim genre. So far I really enjoy WRC10 + DR2 both and ACC is my go to with Racing tracks and GT Cars
