Can't save video settings
Any changes I made in video and graphics settings including screen mode, DirectX version and everything else, are getting reset to defaults every time I restart the game. I've been expiriencing this on different PC's since WRC 7 or 8, but now it's especially critical since I want to play at DX11 and basically can't (every launch game sets its video mode to DX12).

Would be very grateful for any advice.

Yep, the problem is solved by renaming the "Documents" folder to the English. Onedrive sync is not affected. Apparently, this explains that most do not face this problem and the developers do not care.
it didn't work:
C:\Users\[user]\OneDrive\Документы
it works:
C:\Users\[user]\OneDrive\Documents

Make sure you're making these changes in Options in the main menu, not while in a stage.

I do, I even use Xbox gamepad for that (as I've been told by someone earlier). Also I'm actually see changes I made in cfg file in "\My Games\WRC10\UserSettings.cfg", but game just ignores that and runs on default every time. Very frustrating.
OK so i dig a little more and it turns out that problem was my Win10 Documents folder. It shouldn't be synced with OneDrive and also should be named in English.

It doesn't work. The game writes the correct settings in the UserSettings.cfg, but when the game is restarted, the settings are not adopted.
I have this issue with the key bindings, graphics settings gets saved and I have an english version of Windows 10. Its the only game where this happens
make sure your 'usersettings.cfg' isnt set to 'read only'
Had this issue, it happens because the default documents folder might be named using non-english letters (Ukrainian or Russian for example).

What fixed it for me is the following:
  1. Go to settings in windows
  2. Then "Time & Language"
  3. Then "Language"
  4. On the right find "Administrative language settings
  5. Press the "Change system locale" button
  6. Tick the "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support"
  7. Press ok
  8. You can restart the PC but it's optional

This was done on Windows 10 so I'm not sure if it works on other versions.

I hope it helps someone. Good luck!
