Initial hub range without Gold Mine

I randomly spawned a game and found that no any gold within the range, so there's nothing I can do lol.
Is that common for world generating or am I too unlucky?
Hoping for a generating modification for this.

Also had it with the seed "800851337".
Haven't tried other seeds since then but It seems there is no code to make sure there is always a gold node in the spawn area so it's really up to how the seed ends up generating the world.
