LBA (Italian League) Foreign Players Rule

Hello,

first of all, I really like the game and I hope you can develop it even further..

While not officially licensed (at least from what I know) LBA is already playable and the rosters are more or less real. That's very nice.

But you need to correct one thing, the rules for foreign players.

In LBA you can choose between 2 way to build a roster:

- Max 5 Foreign Players (no matter from where) and at least 5 Italian Players

- 6 Foreign Players and 6 Italian Players


You must choose before the start of the season.

With choice #1 a team is open to League money prizes (based on final standings)

With choice #2 a team can't get League money prizes and must pay a "Luxury Tax" of 40K euros.


I know it's not easy but right now it's nearly impossible to play the Italian League, because the game has the limit for foreign players set at "max 3" and the rosters are not build to adjust to this rule.

usually the majority of the teams opt for the "6 Foreign Players and 6 Italian Players".

This is especiallly true for the teams that play in the "Cups" (Euroleague, Eurocup and so on).

I think you can made that the "only" rule in the game, it's easier and not far from reality.

stavo cercando di capire se valesse la pena acquistare il gioco, sono un appassionatissimo di football manager e sono "abituato" a quello standard. Capisco che qui siamo di fronte ad un prodotto "in fasce", ma vorrei una opinione da chi lo sta giocando; cosa puoi dirmi? Nel frattempo il problema della regola stranieri è stato risolto? Inoltre volevo chiederti se le partecipanti alla eurolega e alla eurocup seguono i risultati del campo o partecipano sempre le stesse squadre indipendentemente dal risultato dei campionati (in pratica se prenso una squadra in seconda divisione, vado in prima e vinco il campionato parteciperò alla eurocup? E se la vinco vado in eurolega?)

anche io ero un fanatico di football manager :-)

Onestamente sono in attesa della risoluzione della "regola stranieri" per riprendere a giocare, mi aspetto faccia parte del prossimo giro di patch previsto per fine mese.

Per quel poco che ho giocato (precampionato) l'ho trovato decente, anche se non privo di problemi.
A mio avviso non siamo ancora a Football Manager ma può valere la pena acquistarlo perché il prezzo non è terribile e non c'è nulla di simile in circolazione sul basket europeo (su quello NBA e College c'è un'alternativa, ma niente di eccezionale).

Teoricamente le "regole" delle Coppe, salvo il primo anno (dove le squadre sono ovviamente prestabilite), dovrebbero essere corrette, ma finché non finisco un campionato non te lo posso garantire.

Io ti consiglierei di aspettare ancora qualche settimana, dovrebbe esserci un update massiccio a fine gennaio e forse anche l'accordo ufficiale con altri campionati.

We have already changed the limitation of foreign players in the Italian league to 6 players. The update will be out at the end of this week.

Regarding the teams that qualify for the EuroLeague or EuroCup, each season the best teams from each national league qualify, and if you win the EuroCup for example, you go directly to the EuroLeague. This is done since the game was published.
