Merge Nymphs

Is there a way to hard reset this game?
I haven't played this game in a long, long time. I don't remember how to play it, and looking at how many things there are to do when I started it up again I would rather just start from the beginning with tutorials and all.

probably only by asking devs to restart all your progress

You can reset the tutorial in the settings menu.
Tutorial reset button didn't reset the tutorial or the game.

Maybe I need to find two or more similar "Tutorial Reset" buttons and merge them, to create a functional reset button?

Tutorial reset button resets contextual tutorial. Not general one.
Regarding resseting progress, please contact with us on Discord. After confirming some details we can reset the progress for you. I hope that helps in a way. :]

Awesome, much appreciated! So... what about those of us who don't have or want to use a Discord account to submit the request? Thank you!

Those ones can always contact community manager from Nutaku (the publiosher) and we'll help, when we get info from them.

Two servers with one email? Brilliant!

Don't really know, what you mean. Servers aren't connected, if that's what you're implying. You asked, if it's possible to hard reset the game. Yes, it is. Contact us via Discord OR the Publisher through support form, where you submitt a ticket. Hope that helps :)

I played Merge Nymphs on the publisher's platform two years ago, but ran into the same issue of wanting a hard reset in order to start from scratch. The publisher said to submit a ticket, but I never got a response back at the time.

To be fair, MN wasn't the only game where the devs never responded through the publisher's site, but it's good to see everyone shifting over to Steam and actually taking their projects a bit more seriously.

Your games aren't just games, they're something you put a lot of effort into and deserve every bit of love and appreciation from players. So, since my account on the publisher's site is still active, that means I get to do two resets. Double the pleasure, double the fun!

considering the number of people that want to do a reset for various reasons, and the ability to do so by request, adding the option to do so on your own terms in game sounds like a good thing to add. bury it in settings so noone does it accidently and it'll be fine.

I'm sorry to hear that you've never got any response after submitting the ticket :( Hard to say for sure what has happened. Maybe a system glitch, or sth. As devs, if we get the request, we do response. Focusing on present times - the only direct control over the process we have on Discord, as there you communicate directly with us. If you submitt tickets again and won't get any response, please let me know on Discord. And I'll be happy to help.

Unfortunatelly it's impossible, but it's not a problem, for us, to do this on our side. The number of people asking for it isn't that big.

No worries, that was then and this is now and I appreciate your labor of love to a fellow cult classic of culture.

Still not getting Discord, though. Just feels kinda weird to get an account on a kid-friendly platform just to get customer support for a not-kid-friendly game.

Some servers there are 18+ tho, so it's "all ages friendly" platform, I guess.

Anyhow, please let me know when u create tickets to publisher's support and I'll approach them, to make sure we get it :)

Sent the ticket this afternoon with the same username. Much appreciated, have a great weekend! :sumeru:

UPDATE 03-28: Publisher replied that they're unable to assist, and recommended asking the dev to handle the reset.

Guess I'm on standby for now until a non-Discord, non-Nutaku option becomes available. C'est la vie.
