Character from another game from another publisher

I viewed a game called decline's drops on steam a few days ago. As I am looking for secrets in fallen leaf I go through a green triangle door in 1-9 and found david playing slack key guitar. Next to him listening is the character globule from decline's drops. so these two games from different publishers share the same universe? Are we going to find out more story?

Maybe if I had more internet skill I could find out on discord, the problem is I HATE discord because I don't use it.

Oh yeah, Globule is a guest character from Decline's Drops. There are a few other guest characters hidden in the game as well. There's not very much story tied to it aside from that, but it was just something fun to do for people to discover.
