Key for the girl?

Ive looked everywhere for a key to save the girl you rescue from the dogs, what do i do? also, is there any point to the dying girls on chairs scattered all over?

Sadly you can't free the girl (who is named "June"), however she is mentioned if you get the "good" ending, play as her in "bittersweet misery" expansion which means she is canonically alive even if she is killed in the main game, I recommend finishing the main game before playing bittersweet misery.

How do you save her anyway? i tried several times but there is just way too many dogs to kill and they don't even react to you as long as she's alive.

That is pretty easy, I personally recommend getting the chainsaw, it tears through the dogs like wet paper, get the chainsaw, go to her, save, then examine the order that the dogs come out, load the save if you have to, once you got the order down just wait near the girl and its a breeze from there. Its best to play defensively, do not go to the dog cages to kill them, let them come to you, some may get a hit or two on the girl but as long as you kill them quick enough you should be fine, hope this helped!

thanks for the tip. i was afraid of using the chainsaw myself since i know it's needed for a future secret or smthn like that, but i guess it won't hurt to use just a bit of it.

but, speaking of secrets, i know about the single secret in the courtyard and i can't for the life of me get through it when i actually get up there, so can i have some advice for that or am i just underprepared? cuz i got to the courtyard through the vent for the early entry and i'm not sure i'm ready.

Are you talking about the 3rd floor secret? If so, make sure you open the back door to the bunker area, if you go through the 3rd floor without doing that you will be softlocked as you can't open that door from the other side. As for the chainsaw, yes it is needed for other secrets but you are not required to use it to access the secrets, you simply need it in your inventory to get access to other secrets.

Thanks! As i don't even have any idea about any Bunker yet, i guess i'll go back to the first floor after saving the girl, and then do the secret when i'm ready.
