Amazing game.
Finally finished the main story and upgrade most of the stuff. Def one of my favorite recent games. Hopefully the devs will continue to add stuff like new anomalies and biomes.

Still have to really dig into Expeditions though. So there might be new stuff there.

How far did you get in the expedition?

I agree with all the balance changes and the story mode progression. I've already played on a harder difficulty, and with this new expedition patch, I started a fresh save just for expedition mode.

One tip: always keep all kinds of "unrestricted" items — they’ll come in handy later on.

Not far. Just the first one to see what it was. I've got like 90 hours in the game so I gave it a break before playing again

It might feel boring at the beginning since we're already fully equipped and everything is easy, but as we progress, the difficulty and survival instinct will definitely start to kick in.
You can ignore the fuel can since every junction starts with a refueling station.

But don't forget to bring a fuel can to later expeditions, a full tank in fuel sapping junctions is not enough for you to just pass through, my car ran out of fuel just before the exit and there was no way to refuel, can't even craft one on the fly, frustrating. :steamfacepalm:

♥♥♥♥ I hate those. That's why I use an electric car. Just load up a couple extra chargers and in good. I only lose energy in some specific anomalous areas where electricity damage also affects battery.

AMP engine? never got enough swamp corals to craft one, I will try that one out later.

It's quite plentiful in marshes I believe. Just plan a route following the second level points just after the first wall. I recommend using the best vacuum though since it will pull out the coral out, normal one will do, just slower and you have to wait a bit. By hand it's almost impossible to gather enough.

It's just that I barely go through the mires, both in story mode and expedition RNG, even if I do, it's not a guarantee that I will get enough, I have been getting much more DZ biomes rather than MZ biomes in expeditions, or I have to go through a very long drive in one of these square grid like layout expeditions.

Tree candy is another one of those rare resource.

Tree candy really is rare. I managed to get a bunch but it needed a lot of repeated runs. Problem with tree candy is that it's hard to spot. It's a glowing tree but it just hides itself along the environment when a lot is happening, which is most of the time in the late game.

Bugs aside, this game is a gem. There's nothing quite like it on the market and that's part of why I liked it so much. It dips just enough into its respective genres that it takes inspiration from without making those genre elements an overbearing pain-in-the-ass (I'm looking at you, My Summer Car).

Whaddaya mean? It's only a brown-with-red-glowy-bits thing amidst an entire environment of brown-with-red-glowy-bits things.

Why, it's no different from the ThermoSap Crystallizers, which are also red glowy things set against a backdrop of brown. That also has lots of red glowy...

Hey, wait a minute.

Pretty much, there are others that orbit the same idea of a driving semi rogue like game. But with this vibe and amount of lore and care and really how just fun and approachable it is I don't know any other.

This seems to be trying to hit the same vein, but... With a bike.

Also, yeah, I probably needs glasses. Not sure how I can't see the glowy red thing amongst all the other glowy red things. It's even glowing, should be easy to see.
resource radar is very helpful to find marsh eggs, look for the lizard icon, Also look for the giant Orange Balls, they're usually together.

I've fallen for the Thermosap Mirage so many times...

Pretty sure that goldshell stump is disguising itself to be a stability anchor...
