How many of them did you grab prior to reaching that junction?
Is there a manual zone stabilizer switch in the area? (It typically looks like a cyan colored spiked tower on your arc device map.)
No hand holding in the zone. 🤷🏾♂️
Part of planning a run includes noting which junction you want to end your run on, how much KLim you'll require to open a gate home, and how many opportunities you'll have to pull enough anchors along the way to meet that requirement.
All the stats are there, but it's still on you to make sure you're not lacking.
If you find yourself stranded, you can abort the run like Zen described or you can even just drive around for a bit. Sometimes, the game will tell that you need more power and the zone will throw you a bone (heh) and randomly spawn another anchor right in front of you for you to power up from.
Another way to get out, check to see if the map has a stabilization tower, it's blue IIRC and is a triangle bisected by a line in the middle. Looks like a tent seen from one end.
Flipping the switch opens a gateway, and starts the zone collapse. In non-storyline missions it is just there as a way to open a gate when you are short of KLIM to do it yourself.
Its not hand holding if it just literally does not say whether its a dead end
I had it happen again where I entered an area and it gave absolutely no indication it was a dead end. I have to be honest its killing my motivation to play the game.
I cant rule out there is indeed a bug but it could also be a case of anchor obfuscation zone condition.
Yeah. I know about those. It was one of the first things I asked about in my first post.
Sadly, only a very scant few junctions in the zone actually have a stabalizer switch in them.
Still, it was worth a shot.
Not sure what else to tell you, man.... 🤷🏾♂️
I'm not trying to be dismissive or anything.
But, Dead End junctions are already clearly marked as such on the route map. If you're sure that it's not a Dead End you're in, then there should be a way out of it.
Junctions you can warp home from will always tell you how much energy you need to have. If you want to be safe, just pull as many anchors as you can along the way until the arc is fully charged.
If the junction says "No Stable Exit", then your arc device will not be able to open a warp exit there no matter how many anchors you feed it. But there should still be a road exit from the junction near the edge of the map that will be open for you to drive through and leave to another nearby junction. These are orange with a black arrow on them.
If the junction is not distinctly marked as a "Dead End", then there's always either one or the other or both of those two options available.
If you still keep getting stranded anyway, then it could possibly be a bug of some kind (I've never encountered it).
But, ordinarily, the warnings are already there for where you're going.
