IGN gave it a 7/10
Not sure how to feel about this. Looks to be a wait for sale type of game. I ought to spend my time playing higher rated games than take a risk on playing a potentially medioce experience.

IGN:
Cons: -too much water

PCGamer gave it an 86 and Gamespot an 8. If you actually read the reviews, most think it's a great game only hindered by tedious survival aspects and unforgiving challenge.

So the start-stop formula is what ruins it. People on these forums were right.

IGN also gave Battlefield 2042 a 7/10 score so you could also ask a headless chicken about their opinion or dice it out yourself.

I played & finished the Demo 3 times & can't wait till tomorrow.
When you don't know if ur gonna like the game after playing this demo,
no one else can help you.
It's a unique survival game with lots of love & creativity in it take it or leave it...

Go play the demo its far from boring I really like how involved you have to be right out the gate, if its the art style most pretty graphics games are crap buried under graphics. Games need to be judged off of the content not how it looks.

I know, reading's hard. But, hear me out: what if upon actually reading the words, you'll gain more information and clarity? Thus, giving you better impression if the game is worth your time and money? No? Fine, forget it.

Or maybe you should learn to make an opinion on your own instead of relying others.

Skillup liked it I usually agree with his taste in games.

How do you make an option without owning the game exactly? Playing the demo is not the same as playing the full release. Might take 6 hours or so to get to the best parts of the game and then it's too late to refund.

We all need to get some idea of what a game is like before playing and reviews are a great source of info.

Imagine caring about IGN reviews, all they do is assign a random person with no clue about the genre, and if doesn't fit their taste it's -2 points just for that, saw so many of their reviews just cry about basic concepts in some games.

I'm just amazed that anyone actually goes to IGN.

It's like consulting a bum on fine dining.

Read the Eurogamer review. That seems to explain the variety of opinion. Like Returnal. Brilliant but not for everyone.

well u have to understand when kids only know live service games of course they will be scared of most other standard games even indies

Here's how I see it: no matter who the review is from, if it's a 5 or below, it's probably not worth your time or money and if it's a 9 or 10 you'll probably like at least some aspect of it, but if it's between 6 and 8, it's much more up to personal preference and you're going to have to play it yourself to know
It's basically Stalker in a gopnik-mobile, good enough for me tbh. Can't wait for the hardbass mod.
