Its a cool idea, but everything feels weird.
Everything I find wrong in the game, can be written down and improved. though as much as I think of myself as a wannabe gamedev, My ideas for a few driving games may not come to fruition.
Whens the last time you played a good snowmobile game?
Name one game where you can drive around a town or state infested with giant spiders?
Still cant wait for release!
GTA 5 with mods. And its driving is perfected. Just saying...
No, I drive on left side, if you mean the car seating.
Yeah, I do not think it is intentional like physics is distorted in instability zones. It acts the same in safe areas as well.
I've seen it in other indie games, very simple physics implementation.
Regarding the car.
If you slightly bump a traffic barrier on the road, then car fully stops.
If you drive over some bump when driving off the road car jumps like crazy.
Player walking feels like he is levitating or something, at least in some areas.
The lack of outside camera for car makes if difficult to drive. The car's windshield pole and dashboard take too much space especially when driving at higher speeds. There is like warp out effect in game. In general some weird design choices. It may satisfy some hardcore and iron-man crowd, but for casual players it is rather not fun.
The whole loop of driving a few meters, getting out to loot and evading enemies and anomalies got old inside the first mission.
I was so olin love with the trailer and concept but i thought its a road trip and not a series of beer runs.
