I've not tested yet, but have you checked to see if the gas pumps out the front of the garage have the same gas pool as the single pump indoors?
I could be wrong, but I find it highly unlikely the game would force you to stop playing by making gas in your safezone finite. I expect they make it drop a bit for an image of realism/atmosphere when in reality it will never run out fully.
OP - if you're using so much fuel maybe consider researching&installing fuel synthetiser?
My second game is at 100hrs. I'm using a LimChipped engine and never going back. Looks like the Global warming is the least problem in this game world.
My first game was 40 hrs. Actually same level as now... sit 3/4(game done).
Never touched the gas outside, which looks like a lot of fuel BTW. A LOT
Are you not getting gas in the maps? Do you fill up at gas stations?
Ever look at the trip screen and see how much gas your using or coming back with?
Do you keep your gas can on you? Maybe that is the big difference. If I stop my car, I am getting gas. Trucks, squires, marsh eggs, cloth, no matter, I have a can, and check.
Kids screaming the games too easy, maybe there should be way less gas given how freely folks are burning it.
as well there is a setting in the customization options to enable auto gas refill upon entering garage which allows infinite fuel.
