Can't scan Honey Pot, glitch?

Not sure if this a glitch or not. I saw what I had a feeling to be a honey pot. Squire car, with all there bits. Scanned it, just said "Abandoned Squire." I walk up to it and it shoots flares covering the ground. I'm mashing the scan button. Still says "Abandoned Squire."

Now it surrounds me in tour buses. Mashing the scan button, still nothing.

That has to have been a Honey Pot right, was this a glitch? Or was this all by chance?

You confirmed that nothing gets put out? I think it can sometimes require you to get right up close. It should also have a special symbol with the radar. If you have done everything possible and stuff was spat out, then it's definitely a glitch.

Oh yeah, after the show I was pushing myself up against it. Moving around it and hitting scan. Nothing. Even scrapped the parts down. Nothing

Well, if you don't have the radar then there's nothing for it. Maybe unlock the radar, through any means, even a trainer, then make and equip it. It should then have a special symbol that shows something like a lid popping off. I understand if you might not like the idea of using a trainer to unlock it, but that's the easiest way to get it. Otherwise, just keep going until you can get it and see if you can find one with it. If it shows that symbol and you get the same thing, it's definitely a glitch.

I had a normal pink sedan honeypot. They can be rare though.

I have and had it equiped. Scanned it and still showed up as a normal car with full parts. Can confirm the radar was working, didn't have the unreliable trait.


Wanting to find the Honey Pot. I've walked up to all cars with there full parts, hoping to scan a honey pot.

I dunno, might have been the third car on my run. Where when I walked up to it, something happened. Where I thought "Hey this must be the honey pot." Tried to scan it to no avail.

Well, if it isn't the same symbol that's used for a car but the lid one, then it's a glitch. All you can really do at that point is file a report about it. Just make sure to have some wind turbines to recharge the battery after each pulse so you can keep the symbols up until you find one
