But I can confirm that time comes to a halt at Midnight while in the Garage.
I'm using the garage as a hangout to listen to the music. It appears to give us a perpetual night when midnight is reached.
Mystery solved. Probably the design team decided to not advance time to the next day while idling around.
I was hoping time & weather would keep going, because I love the shifting weather & dynamics, especially the rainstorms outside, the background ambience when listening to the radio in the garage :)
