-Took the car out on a regular drive (1 junction) and came back to the garage
-Took the car out on a level 1 expedition and came back to the garage
-Completely stripped the car of all parts (again)
-Drained the full talk 100%
-Removed all gained quirks during this time (5 in total)
Nothing seems to have worked, the car still freaks out like it's sitting in the dead center of a left-right. HOWEVER, the screen inside the car that displays the car panels/doors/accessories health does not flash with the "error" sign, instead just having screen dim slightly and flicker for a few moments. Not sure what is happening but it's admittedly starting to piss me off as I can't have a moment of rest trying to plan my route through the latest expedition while the horn blares in time with the radio going ballistic. It only appears to be affecting this save however, which really sucks because it was my very first save I made back when the game first launched in February of 2024. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I won't potentially have to start all over again!
I've never needed to create a backup save before. I preordered the game the week before it launched back in '24 and have had 0 issues with the save system or major issues with the car like this since then.
That said, I hope you can find a solution without having to restart.
Sorry, should've specified earlier: All of my saves are used up for different challenge runs (made both before and after the Drive Your Way update launched earlier last year).
I started to go nuts because of this. Can't listen to music in hub anymore, bruh
I've had the game awhile as well and never ran into this issue, looks like a new one introduced by the update, report it if you can.
No worries. I took everything out including the engine (even removed all stickers and interior cosmetics I had applied to the car) so I really have no idea whats happening. Seems like some others are also reporting it so it might get fixed quickly, we'll just have to see. I also sent a bug report but haven't heard anything back yet.
