Help identifying a map marker

Wondering if anyone can help me identify the linked [Not Recognized] marker on the below screenshot. Very similar looking to the Pneumatic Deposit Box, except with some electricity symbols above it. I've not had any luck locating with a scanner in level too.

I believe that is a charging station for the car.

Not really the typical charging stations found at random locations, but specifically Circuit Gates (1 of several checkpoints around a "race track")

It's an "event" that rewards the player for completing the race and going through each Circuit Gate under a certain amount of time

Kind of, but these ones aren't ones with any real stakes. They are also easier than that mission.
