But you don't need an excuse to play it more outside of you just enjoying the game.
I did it twice lol. There's always the added difficulties.
I would be shocked if there was any more story DLC. They'd have to get the VAs for more of that, etc., etc., and given that everyone except Francis is gone by the end of the story you'd have to pull something very out of left field to eke out new content. The mystery of the Zone has been resolved.
They also worked on the map, adding new forks. They've added difficulty level settings and seem to have given players the ability to upload their own music to the game (although this has had issues that I'm not sure how to fix).
They definitely haven't abandoned the game, but I myself can't be sure if players will get anything more out of it.
Brand new zones with new scenery and anomalies, new weather conditions, improved damage system.
In theory - There are a lot of things you could do with this game to try and diversify it even more and make it either more interesting or unbearable from the mere idea that all of your Lim-tech can behave erratically and can affect your gameplay more than just turning it off.
