@Medvezhak, I would check that your display is well below your eyeline, and if not, either lower it if you can or raise the height of your seat (you can put things underneath it). Personally when games started making my eyes ache I had to buy a new chair which raised my seated height, as well as being mindful that my display was below my eyeline in future (buying ones with low stands). Other than that assuming you don't have glasses you might need to check that out - trust me, eye strain is no joke, you should do something to alleviate it happening.
Ideally your eyeline is *at most* in line with the top of your display or TV, ideally the entire display is below your eyeline so you are looking downwards, which is comfortable for your eye muscles and neck. But you can get away with this since most TV/films and games don't put too much stuff right at the top - so yeah it's possible that some players will have to keep looking upwards to read the subs, which can cause serious eye strain depending on their setup. It's no joke, tends to cause migraines or worse (fatigue etc) and can take a while to recover from if people actually realise what is causing it and change their setup (which many won't - my ophthalmologist had to point it out based on those symptoms).
Absolutely love that the game has options for photosensitivity etc (as someone who suffers from that as well as having crap eye muscles) - so an in-game option to move the subs would also be fantastic.
