Enemies?

I am interested in this game but I read a review that stated the enemies are anomalies. You aren't hunted or chased etc. Is that true? Is it simply atmospheric without the danger of an enemy?
No judgement on my part, I am simply looking for clarification. I'll know if it's for me or not.

Some of the anomalies will do limited chasing. There is a storm that will absolutely chase you out of a zone (you hung around too long/made it appear). You will do a lot of navigating around hazards and trying to mitigate hazards/problems.

There is no meaningful shooting here, and I've only run into one anomaly that wanted to shoot something at me.

Don't forget that some of the anomalies will hide and ambush as well. There are a lot of dangers in this game.

It's nothing like, say, Metro/S.T.A.L.K.E.R. You drive through areas, avoiding hazards and pushing your luck the farther you go before either failing or returning to base with your spoils.

No One is mentioning the flying metal horror balls that will chase you by rolling, bouncing and flying?

Not to mention the flying metal creature that will grab you and launch you into trees, off bridges, or into a bunch of exploding clay dolls that spawned into existence around your car a few seconds after you turned your back?
