Note that what you are after should be marked on the map and is basicly a flip switch, not an actual radio station. it should be up a winding road towards the end of the basic map the game always gives you for this starter mission.
This guide use the same location as all the other sources i looked up. The tower is not there. It is missing, but there is a red light in the sky, which indicate it is suppose to be there.
Are you hearing a noise with a steady pattern? If so it's a visual glitch so it should be possible to get it. You just have to go next to the fence and you should get a prompt maybe with a little movement.
I don't know what sound I am listening for, and the game really have a lot of random noises. I have all ready tried to do what you suggest but there is nothing there. A bug that practically breaks the game as I can't progress. Restarting the game, or PC doesn't fix it.
It's a bit hard to describe, kind of an odd beep. It's a very loud one and has some pulses to it. If there is still nothing then I would suggest that you maybe uninstall and reinstall the game.
Interestingly, they patched this issue if you did this mission out of order, something I did not do. At least not something directly tied to the mission.
Good to know that you got it fixed. I find that to be old reliable when it comes to such issues.
I'm going to post in here with some clarification. I'm not sure if this bug still exists or not, but since it's hard to find info on, here's the deal: if you've played through the mission once and completed it under any other playthrough, sometimes a switch is permanently flipped, which locks a new playthrough from accessing the radio tower. The only solution I've found is to uninstall and reinstall the game.
The first time I played I did find it, but because I made many mistakes I decided to delete the savefile and start over again.
But now I only see a red light floating in the air.
So what I did is collect the arc energy and warped back to the garage because I didn't want to lose all the loot.
Then I saved the game, restarted the game, loaded the game. Now the tower does respawn.
What I also noticed is that when the game level is bugged, there is no orange POI for the radio tower. I think you get the POI after crafting an impact hammer. If you don't get the POI the level is probably bugged, you can abandon the level, save and restart the game application.
There is no need to reinstall the game.
