Stuck in the car

I started the game today. Was going smooth until I drove to Auggy Auto workshop and now I can't get out of the car. I can open the door but there is an outline of the door that prevents me from getting out? How do I solve this?

Just checking you tried tapped e instead of holding as holding only open the door. Otherwise the only other things we could suggest is to try saving and quitting and then resuming, see if that works. Or verify the integrity of your files and see if that works. Unless someone else comes up with something then I would forward that to the devs.
