Improvement
I don't understand how the improvements work. What is the way to have stable, unstable and corrupted elements during our run?

You get each type of element (or 'energy') from collecting orbs in the Zone: stable (yellow) energy in the Outer Zone (the forested starting areas); unstable energy (orange) in the swampy Mid-Zone, and finally; corrupted (purple) energy in the barren hellscape of the Inner Zone. These are the same orbs you feed into your car to use to get back to your garage, the ones you snatch from those half-elliptical "anchors". They don't get used up when you open the portal, but instead get stored...somewhere, and can be used to operate the fabricator (and later, a couple of other machines as well.)

Thank you so much !

In addition to this? If the area has a high instability, shown by an orange blob on the route map around a zone? There is a chance to have an anchor type different from the zone. For example getting unstable anchors in an outer zone location. Mouse over the zone once you scan it, or a route running through it. The upper right corner will have two bars, the upper with a clock symbol showing roughly how long the zone has till it collapses. If the zone is Perpetually Stable then it won't until you open a gateway.

The other is a bar showing the amount of anchor energy, and the symbol to the left of the bar shows the anchor type. Yellow and two vertical lines for a stable anchor, red and two angled lines for unstable ones, and purple with an arrow mark for corrupted.

Also when pulling anchors where the zone said they'd be unstable? I've occasionally found one of the anchors was actually corrupted.

You're very welcome! Excellent addendum by Nikas as well.
