how do you strip a car part off of a scrapped car?

this car has an armored panel and I want, also there is achievement and I would like to get it.

You need the liberator tool

You need to create the Liberator, shoot the part once, if you're clever you can shoot near another part and get multiple items in one shot. (all items you shoot with the liberator will take damage because it's an explosive)

you need a special tool. explosive cutter or something like that. costs 5 red cristals to make, so you better start collecting!

Blow up the Tourists, thats what that glowing red stuff in their torso is although there is a chance one will drop when you explode them so you'll need to kill a bunch of them. Also scrap armoured car parts usually drop one too.

Theres a small chance but start killing tourists as they sometimes drop the thermo sap crystals (and i believe grinding armoured parts also give some until you find a way to get them more reliably later on)

yeah I know, im in end game, just never used the liberator, I have tons of thermosap at the base :)

How the hell do I kill the tourists? Hit them with the car and explode myself or throw something at them?

Light a flare and hold right mouse button to throw it at them. They will explode, but for whatever reason they don't explode if you throw a flare that isnt lit.
