x Icon on Car Parts

Does anyone know what the small x above the bar's means on car parts? I'm thinking it's a way to say it is needing replaced, but would like to double check before I scrap half my car!

Yeah, it's one of three things. But either way, it basically means making a new one or continue to be plagued with issues.

hold C while looking at that part it will tell what problem and how to fix it.
X means part is rusted usually happens when u get in acid anomaly or acid rain. it cant be fixed

if you check the logbook under statuses you'll have one two or three xs I have three so far one for rust, fragile and worn they all basically mean it's toast make a new one. :D

fragile. rusted. unreliable. worn, bald. all depends on various parts.
