I Died and was returned to the garage with nothing FFS

Just did my first mission out of the garage. Got caught up in the red cloud storm.. was returned to the garage with NOTHING. IT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AUTO SAVED and completely screwed me over. Now i have to start all over again?

From settings, you can define if:
* loose all items
* loose some items
* keep all items
when run is failed (e.g abandoned or you die).

So, go over the settings and make your life easier.

you can change it so you return with everything in settings. / doesn't appear to effect achievements.

This game has rogue features base yes, you can change it BUT
YOU CAN ALSO FIND YOUR STUFF AGAIN. Unless there's a modifier on the junction called "No Second chances", you can often find your "Remnant Phantom" and retrieve your lost items.

The dumpster will spit out parts for your car if there's empty panel, door or tire slots.

Plus there's a wreck outside that always replenishes a few panels and doors when you return from a drive.

Yeah unfortunately i didn't catch that option in settings.. I tried to make do with what i returned with and got from the dumpster but it wasn't enough to carry on.

Oh, that's good to know. I got screwed over by an anomaly during the collapse, got stuck into a tree and-- RIP : /
